Platform for Progress
I'm running for Westfield City Council because I believe in smart planning, fiscal responsibility, and building a city that works for everyone—from families and students to business owners and retirees.
Here’s how I’ll work for you:
Strong Schools, Strong Future
Our public schools are one of Westfield’s greatest assets. I believe in investing in education that prepares our students for whatever path they choose. I will work to:
Equip our teachers with the tools and support they need to help students excel.
Modernize school buildings to lower maintenance costs and improve learning environments.
Champion the construction of a state-of-the-art Technical High School, giving students hands-on pathways to great careers in the trades.
Building a Stronger Community
A great city is more than just infrastructure—it’s people, culture, and connection. I will:
Support and expand the work of groups like Westfield on Weekends that enrich our civic life.
Promote local arts, culture, and recreational programs that bring our community together.
Create smart incentives for developers to build vibrant residential neighborhoods that meet the needs of families, young professionals, and seniors.
Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency
I believe in being a good steward of taxpayer dollars. That means:
Supporting a realistic, transparent budget process that prioritizes needs over wants.
Identifying opportunities for economic growth to reduce the long-term tax burden on residents.
Encouraging creative, cost-saving solutions across departments to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
A Business-Friendly Westfield
Westfield deserves a thriving local economy and a city government that helps—not hinders—growth. I will:
Set a competitive, sustainable business tax rate that attracts new companies and jobs.
Streamline city processes and cut red tape, making it easier for businesses to grow and invest here.
Foster partnerships between City Hall and local entrepreneurs to boost innovation and opportunity.
Planning for the Next Generation
Growth doesn’t happen by accident—it happens through vision and planning. I will:
Work with city leaders and planners to identify projects that position Westfield for success over the next 10–20 years.
Push for infrastructure improvements, including a rework of the Mass Pike exit and Route 202 on the north side, to improve traffic flow and regional access.
Ensure Westfield is ready for the future—without losing what makes it special today.
Let’s Build the Westfield We All Deserve
I’m ready to bring thoughtful leadership and a collaborative spirit to City Hall. Let’s make sure Westfield remains a great place to live, learn, work, and grow—for this generation and the next.
